Frequently Asked Questions
By default, they are saved in Files → On My iPhone/iPad → AudioLane → Exports. The success screen shows the location, and “Save to Other Location” lets you choose another folder.
Check that it is not DRM-protected, contains a readable audio track, and is no larger than 2 hours or 2 GB. AVI, MKV, FLV, and MPG/MPEG are currently unsupported; try MP4, MOV, M4V, or a supported audio file.
You start with five successful standard-quality MP3/M4A exports, which can be used on any date. After the fifth successful export, you receive one free export per device-local calendar day starting the next day; unused daily access does not accumulate, and there is no sixth export on the day you use the fifth one. Only a complete successful export uses quota. Failed or cancelled exports, and sharing or saving an existing output again, do not. There is no duration or file-size paywall for eligible free exports, although every task still depends on your device’s available storage, memory, performance, and background-execution limits.
Open Settings or the paywall, tap “Restore Purchases,” and use the Apple Account that made the purchase. If it does not restore, check your connection and restart AudioLane.
Email your iPhone/iPad model, iOS version, AudioLane version, input extension, approximate duration and size, the screen and full error message, and whether a short privacy-safe sample reproduces the issue. Never send private recordings or your Apple Account password.
