Privacy Policy

AudioLane (the “App”) provides on-device audio processing. This policy explains how the App handles information.

1. Information We Process

1.1 Media and recordings

The App reads audio, video, and recordings that you actively select or create. It uses them to extract audio, edit, mix, apply effects, and export. Media is not uploaded to our servers or used for advertising or model training.

1.2 Permissions

Files or Photos access is requested only when you choose an import action. Microphone access is requested only when you start recording. You can revoke either permission in iOS Settings.

1.3 Purchases

Apple App Store and StoreKit process in-app purchases. We receive product and transaction status to determine AudioLane Core Pro entitlement, but not your full payment-card number.

1.4 Local diagnostics

The App may keep limited event counts and crash or performance diagnostics on your device, such as export status, error category, and processing time. These records do not contain filenames, media content, video frames, contacts, or precise location. Unless we clearly enable a third-party service and update this policy, they are not sent to us or another party.

2. How Information Is Used

Information is used to provide import, editing, conversion, export, and sharing; restore drafts and local project state; verify and restore purchases; improve stability; troubleshoot errors; and meet legal obligations.

3. Storage and Deletion

Projects, drafts, caches, and exports are stored in the App container or a Files location you select. Delete projects in the App or exported files in the Files app. Deleting the App removes its container, but does not remove files saved elsewhere.

4. Third-Party Services

Apple App Store / StoreKit: handles purchases and transaction verification under Apple’s privacy policy.
LAME: an on-device MP3 encoding component that does not receive your media. See our Terms of Use for license information.

AudioLane has no advertising SDK, social-tracking SDK, or user-account system.

5. Children’s Privacy

AudioLane is not directed specifically to children. We do not knowingly collect children’s personal information.

6. Retention and International Processing

Media processing normally occurs on your device. Apple may process information across borders to provide its services. We do not maintain server-side media storage for AudioLane.

7. Your Rights and Contact

For privacy questions, deletion assistance, or other support, contact support@upjoyap.com. AudioLane does not retain server-side media; deletion requests primarily concern help with local cleanup or privacy inquiries.

8. Policy Updates

We may update this policy when features or legal requirements change. The effective date will be updated on this page, and material changes may also be communicated in the App or by other reasonable means.
